Moose is fostered in Celebration, FL (Osceola County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Moose is an 8-9 month old corgi mix, the vet thinks with Chihuahua and possibly something else. He is a sweet, cuddly boy who loves to give kisses. He recently had one of his hind legs amputated due to an old injury that had not been addressed prior to him being in rescue. The tripawd lifestyle does not slow him down one bit! He loves to go for walks and play with toys. He is not interested in playing with the large dogs in his foster home, but would do fine with a laid-back larger dog or any dog his size or smaller. He will guard his toys against others which is being worked on in foster care. Moose would also be fine as an only animal and in a home with cats. Moose is a parvovirus survivor and his 6-month shedding period is up in mid-July. Until then he should not be homed with puppies that do not have their full complement of vaccines or immunocompromised dogs. Moose is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, and microchipped. This sweet puppy is looking for a family to give him an amazing forever!
