About Pearl

Pearl is a 3 yr old, purebred Blue Merle Border Collie. This gorgeous girl is an absolute doll. She lived the first few years of her life in a hotel room. A laser light was her only form of exercise so we are keeping her away from spot lights and teaching her the joys of sniffing, a cool breeze and just how to be a dog. She has discovered that she LOVES to play ball and frisbee. She is fine with the other dogs but really doesn't know how to be social with them and isn't very interested. After 4 days in foster she is attached like Velcro to her foster Mom. She is VERY smart and obedient. She is great all adults and children and especially likes men. She is very gentle with everybody, including children. We feel certain that the more she is with other dogs and exposed to normal dog behaviors she will start to develop those behaviors herself. Agility or any type of work would be great for this girl. Border Collies are herding dogs and need a job! She is so eager to please. She weighs about 30 lbs. (but should gain some weight), is HW negative, up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed. Please do not apply for Pearl if you are gone at work all day. We do not see her as a city girl.
