About Banjo

My contact information is: Ashley Rooney #828-748-5666 108 Kent dr Forest city ,NC 28043. My name is Ashley rooney, about 3 months ago we brought home a beautiful Redbone hound. His name is banjo. He was/is to be a companion for my son . But , he has shown himself to be unhappy with us, he runs away at every turn and does not eat like a dog normally does,(nibbles at his food and we tried lots of different brands try to find something he likes). We live in town (small town forest city) and so it's not like we can just let him roam. I didn't really think through about him being a hunting dog and my cats ether,(very aggressive to my cats) so we can't let him be in the house unsupervised like our other pup. We need help in finding him a home so very much! For his sake he needs wide open spaces. We are just not a good fit. I have talked with my local human society but they are so overwhelmed right now. I thought since you all a hound rescue you may be able to find him a better home. He is a sweet boy, 3yr old , just needs a different home than what we can provide.
