Pal's Place would like to introduce these 5 precious little Shepherd/Terrier mix pups, all looking for loving and forever homes! This adorable little family was rescued from a kill shelter in Kentucky. We do not really know what their mix is, the breed listed is an educated guess! The pups look like mini German Shepherds but are going to be much smaller. They look like they could have some type of Terrier in them, like a Jack Russell or Fox Terrier or even possibly some Min Pin. Whatever these guys are, they sure are cute! We are estimating they'll be medium sized dogs when fully grown, somewhere between 25-40 pounds. They are currently about 8 weeks old (6/3) and all weigh in between 4 and 5 pounds. There are 3 females and 2 males and they are all very friendly, happy and loving little pups. They have the plucky, adventurous and confident nature of a terrier and they will make fun loving companions for active families for the time and energy to raise young active puppies. Please keep in mind that puppies this young need frequent potty breaks (every 2-3 hours) and lots of playtime throughout the day. They'll do best in homes where people are home more often than not. These pups are in a loving and nurturing foster home while they wait to be adopted into forever homes. We place a 2-week medical hold on any puppy that comes to our rescue to do our best to ensure they have not picked up any illness during their stay at the pounds. All pups will be vet checked, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and spayed/neutered being placed. These pups will be ready to leave for their new families on or after June 14th.
