About Fritz

Meet handsome Fritz, a 4 year old long legged Chihuahua who weighs 7 pounds. He was owner surrendered with 2 other dogs as his owner is terminally ill. Fritz is a bit shy to begin with but once he is settled he thrives on attention. Fritz is fully housebroken, heartworm negative and microchipped. He loves to give kisses on the cheek and enjoys being in your lap. He likes to be close by and always tries to keep you in his line of sight. Fritz does not like to be kept in a crate. We would like to see him go to a home with a fenced yard so he has the freedom to run his heart out. He really likes playing with a ball and will almost bring it back to you when you throw it for him. He does well other dogs and will run around the yard with them as long as you let him. He also enjoys walking on harness and leash which is something he has learned since we took him in. He is afraid of large dogs but has been fine with small dogs. He has been sleeping in bed with his foster mom but will also sleep on a dog bed in the same bedroom. Fritz has not been tested with cats. Due to his small size and shyness he would not be suitable in a home with young children. We'd love to see Fritz go to his new forever home very soon so that he can get started on his new life.
