We do our best to screen these dogs, but make no guarantees regarding the information posted.** Name: Lacey Age: @ 12 years Sex: Female, spayed (vet confirmed) Breed: English Pointer mix, 42 pounds Location: Martinez, GA Lacey is approximately 12 years old and her owner says that she is 'completely blind from as far as I can tell. Her eyes are cloudy and developed from old age'. Her owner is being transferred to a new location and will not be able to bring her with him. Vet Info: Lacey is vet confirmed spayed and is up to date with all of her vaccinations as well as being HW negative and on preventative. . Owner Info: Lacey is not microchipped, she is an indoor dog with the run of the house. She is both housebroken and leash trained. Lacey knows the commands 'sit, lie down, and stay'. She is shy but good with men, women, teens and children. She is good with both dogs and cats as well as other small animals. She currently resides with another dog. Lacey is not possessive with treats or food and has never shown aggression to any person or animal nor has she snapped or bitten anyone or any animal. Lacey is a very mellow dog that 'for the most part likes to be left alone'. When she wants you to pet her she will roll on her back. Other than her blindness Lacey is very healthy. Since her owner is being transferred, Lacey will need to find her furever home quickly.
