About Gracie - Bichon Frise

Have you ever seen such a cute girl? Gracie is a wonderful Bichon Frise. Gracie came to us overweight and couldn't play or move around much. We took her to the vet to make sure she didn't have any health issues and then we put her on a diet and started exercising her. Gracie was 18 pounds and is now down to 12 pounds - she looks great! She LOVES to play with male dogs - she will run circles around the yard, play tug with them, and have all kinds of fun. She doesn't play with female dogs - she gets kinda bossy. She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES tummy rubs! It is hard to take her picture because she is upside down wanting her tummy rubbed! Gracie is almost three years old, she is spayed, current on vaccines, and heartworm negative. She is ready for a new home. She is an indoor dog but likes to spend time playing outdoors in a safe and enclosed yard. She doesn't care for kids, she barks at them a LOT. WE ARE IN ABILENE, TEXAS. WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR PETS, WE REQUIRE ADOPTERS MEET THE DOG TO MAKE SURE IT IS A GOOD FIT. NOTE: We are a rescue, the dogs are in foster homes. WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. We require an application BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets. We contact vets to ensure that pets already in the adoptive home are current on vaccines, heartworm prevention and sterilized. We have gotten to know the pet and our goal is to make the best match, between pet and people. PLEASE be aware, we do not adopt out to a home that has an animal which has not been spayed or neutered.
