About Gizmo

Hello my name is Gizmo. I am a long hair Turkish Van/Angora. I have been vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, rabies shot, neutered and micro-chipped. I was rescued in December after a very cold night outside. I was abandoned by a medical building and was heard by my cries over the morning busy traffic at 6AM in the dark. I was so scared it took from 6AM to 11:30AM when I finally was to exhausted, hungry and dehydrated to move anymore. Lee Ann was able to scoop me up with no fight. She took me in and help me get better. I am a Turkish Van and estimated to be about 6mo old. I am going to be a beautiful handsome boy. I am friendly, social, extremely affectionate, playful and get along with the other foster felines in the house. I am unsure how I am with any dogs and fine with kids and adults. I am pretty submissive. Sometimes I can be very very needy. So the home I am adopted into needs to be one that understands this, can give the much needed attention I need and this is crucial, if meeting or any time spent with me, you would quickly understand. I am an indoor only kitten; everything but an ordinary cuddle bug. I would be a great therapy and emotional support kitty. With soft cries here and there, all I truly want is to crawl in one's lap and watch whatever they're doing - with the exception of many head nudges, wrap around your shoulder or curl around you neck if allowing when you least expect it. I love to be touched and stay close by. I adore watching through windows. I can be one to jump at times into your arms to share some love. I will settle on laps, in laps, or on shoulders next to you if you're lying down. I have a tendency to give several kisses to show love. And while I love to give and get attention, I will accept all the returned kisses in the world. Sweet, adoring, and everything nice are perhaps understatements for me. I have a way of connecting with just about anyone so long as they meet my bewildered eyes. My profile should be updated again soon with some video.
