About Yukon

Yukon is a fun, energetic and friendly, one-year-old, 58-pound, male, white American Bulldog-mix with brown spotted ears, and bi-colored eyes, looking for a loving guardian. Yukon is very playful with people and other dogs! He is even good with jerky dogs, as he just literally turns the other cheek. He is being fostered with cats and he chases those that run from him. But, if a cat ignores him, they get along just fine. He loves going for walks and rides nicely in the car. When he's had enough exercise, he settles down just fine in the home. He LOVES people and gives plenty of kisses and tail wags. Yukon doesn't know any formal commands, but he'll do anything for a treat, so he's working on his sit command. He'd love a home with a fenced-in yard to run and play in. But, he could probably do just fine in an apartment as he is quietly crate-trained and housebroken - when taken out regularly. He would LOVE a home with another dog. However, if he were an only dog, he would need to get exercise with doggie daycare or dog parks and play dates with other dogs. He's such a nice dog, he just lacks some manners and likes to jump. So, he's probably best with children over the age of 10. But, Yukon has a great disposition and with some training will make a great companion. Yukon is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm and fecal-tested and on preventative.
