About Venus

Venus is a very beautiful, sweet, super snugly and quite tiny, 4.5 pound, five-year-old, female grey tabby cat looking for a loving guardian. Venus was found stray about three years ago. She found a loving home, but when her dad passed away. Venus came back to rescue. At first, she was depressed and wouldn't eat at all. Now, we've found she has a sweet tooth and begs for cake and jumps in the fridge if you leave the door open. Like a dog, she'll clean up any crumbs she finds. She's not terribly fond of other cats and dogs. But, she LOVES people including children. She loves to roll in catnip and jump for feather toys. She is very playful and talkative. She loves to be held and will knead you lovingly. She purrs and purrs. She is well-behaved in the home, clean and neat and has perfect litter box habits. She has all her claws but isn't destructive. She is looking for a feline-lover willing to give her medicine twice a day as she was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She is skinny but gaining weight. She is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and virus-tested negative. Her adoption fee of $100 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits.
