About Draven

Draven is the biggest sweetie and full of affection. He craves attention and loves to be pet all over. He's such a happy, wiggly boy and loves to be close to his humans! Draven is a pretty easy going guy with a nice, medium energy level and a joy to foster. He's a happy go-lucky-boy with 'puppy spunk,' but none of that 'puppy naughtiness.' He thinks tennis balls are coolest thing ever. He will happily entertain himself when you give him one, frolicking about with his cute antics. His other favorite toys are his bone/antler collection, and of course squeakies! Draven also loves his backyard; he thinks the great outdoors are wonderful. He especially loves rolling in the grass, catching bugs, exploring everything around him, and sneaking up on his foster dog siblings for a game of chase. Draven is dog-friendly and does well in the pack life. One of his favorite things to do is play with his foster doggie siblings. Draven really enjoys his daily walks around the neighborhood in his freedom harness. He could also make a nice jogging buddy with his leggy stride. He loves going on car rides, (especially when I tell him that we will stop by Starbucks for a Pup Cup!) and is an easy, quiet companion to have along. Draven is pretty darn intelligent. He picks up on learning new tricks, basic commands, and routines quickly. He has a love affair with food, especially peanut butter, so he is always willing to do anything to get that tasty treat! Draven also has a couch potato side to him. He is a rock star snuggle bug and he loves to snuggle right up with you and have cuddle time on the couch. Before you know it he is softly snoring away. When it's bedtime, he'll follow you up to the bedroom, curl up on his doggie bed, and wake you up right on time for breakfast! This boy would love for someone to give him love, attention, a nice routine, and some type of daily, fun mental/physical activity (likes walks, car rides, special toy time, etc). He would do well with another dog or as your one and only boy. Draven is a dog that adores his people who he loves and trusts. He pretends to be shy on the first meet, but don't be fooled because his personality will shine through in time. Draven is about 2 years old, 65 lbs, and housebroken. He does wonderful when left loose in the house, and is very content sleeping away on the couch while you are gone. With a proper/slow introduction he may also be cat friendly.
