About POPPY

'POPPY' is a sweet, pretty, gentle-natured, loving, 58 lb, 1 yr old German Shepherd mix female that we rescued from a very high kill pound. Poppy is kind, gentle and can be a little shy/timid at first, but warms up nicely. Poppy gets along well with other dogs and would do best in a home with another resident dog of equal size & personality to help build on her confidence. Her favorite toy is her 'Kong', which is also abit of a security blanket for her. Poppy is spayed, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, on monthly heart-worm preventative, house-trained and crate trained. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
