This is ANDY, a 12-18 month old Labrador mix boy about 50 lbs. arrived in Denver on 05/25/18. WE HAVE WAITED SOOOOOOO LONG TO MEET HIM! Originally, we 'tagged' Andy for rescue from a shelter back in December 2017. He went to a private foster home where it was discovered that his run-of-the-mill 'kennel cough' was actually potentially-fatal distemper virus. His wonderful foster family has nursed this dog through the worst of his illness and back to full health over the past 6 months - getting state of the art treatment pushed back from transport repeatedly - until he was entirely well and clear. And now he's in Colorado and ready for his new life! This guy is sweet, good with other animals, loving, and really enjoying his second chance at life. He is crate trained, house trained, uses a dog door and loves belly rubs so much he sometimes tinkles. Please email [email protected] for adoption or foster information.
