RUGAR AS BEEN AT THE SHELTER FOR A VERY LONG TIME. I'M NOT SURE WHY! HE IS SUCH A HAPPY GOOD LOOKING DOG! YES HE NEEDS AN ACTIVE FAMILY...BUT....HE IS AWESOME! - A4074084 Hi, my name is RUGAR. I am a neutered male, brindle and white German Shepherd Dog mix. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 2 months old, and weigh about 45 lbs. I have been at the shelter since Apr 23, 2018. I'm an energetic guy, and already neutered so I can head out the door on Adoption Day! I love the kiddie pool. I would likely benefit from an Adopter willing to invest some time and teach me some things to expand on the commands I already know & give me the structure & love I need to thrive! I am a little pushy & rambunctious, but like to engage in play so I might do best with a calm, polite dog willing to accept my obnoxious play style (we all have friends like this, right?) So....as always, a doggie introduction at the Shelter is always recommended! I love people and really pay attention, though I'm still working on my leash manners.
