About Fergie

WE DO NOT RESPOND TO TELEPHONE INQUIRIES Fergie is a wonderful, wiggly, almost 4 year old girl who needs to be very close to her people. She is a snuggler for sure! She does extremely well with kids, but because of her need for closeness would probably do better with kids 8 years and up. Fergie is spayed, microchipped, completely house trained, crate trained, and sits on command. She is working on stay, but that's hard when she wants to be so close to you. She is learning to wait nicely for her food, and takes treats from people VERY gently. She does tend to make a mess when she drinks, so keep a towel handy!! But she is so worth it! Fergie needs a fenced in yard because she has shown interest in small animals and birds, and can't help but follow her nose wherever it takes her. She usually listens very well, as long as her nose does not distract her. She would like to be the only dog in a home. Stairs are a bit tricky as she doesn't have a lot of experience with them, and learning to figure out where to put her feet. Her perfect day is playing with her tough toys, and being loved on.
