About Zoey

ATTRIBUTES: I cannot express how much Zoey has been emotionally fulfilling for so many years of my life. She is extremely loyal and a great guard dog. Rest assured that if you were home alone with Zoey, you would feel safe in her presence. I am amazed by how sweet and caring she is, as well as her unconditional love and enjoys cuddling. She can be active or just hang out on the couch with you; she would be content either way. She is an inside dog and is well house-trained. She is healthy, smiley, adorable, and charismatic. She is current on all her shots, has been fixed, and has a microchip. She comes with a large kennel, dog bed, collar, harness, leash, loose-leash, food, toys, and treats. SITUATION: Zoey is very Alpha by nature and my partner of two years is a very passive person. There have been issues with the pack hierarchy in our family for the last two years and Zoey has finally breached that by biting my partner. The bite was minimal, but the combination of my partner and Zoey is now in an unbreakable cycle - my partner being afraid and Zoey reacting to the fear. Zoey is very intuitive. If you are upset and crying, she will be there to consul you. However, if someone is anxious around her, she will sense that as well and become defensive. TRAINING: Last year she went to a Dog Training camp for 3 weeks. She did very well and is trained on how to heel, sit, stay, come, etc. She is also very receptive to e-collar training if you are familiar with how to work with that (e-collar would go with Zoey, if wanted.) She does well in controlled dog-socialization classes, which she attends roughly 1-2 per month.
