About Cashew

Hello! My Name is Cashew. I am about 12 - 14 years . I am a rescue from a puppy mill. Therefore I am very skittish and would prefer a quiet home with no children. I have been homed with other younger dogs before, and we did get along most of the time. I have also lived with cats too. I am sorry to say, but I am not house trained and I am not really a walking type of dog. Also, I am not a highly aggressive dog, BUT due to my insecurities I have the potential to snap or growl at you. : - ( However, if you move slowly around me and are patient with me I will try my very best to learn to trust you and go potty where you want me to. Please don't let these cons and my age scare you away from adopting me! I really want to be your companion and live the rest of my days in peace. My current owners ask that if you are up to adopting me you have previous experience with animals, and you are financially stable to take care of me. I can not handle be re-homed a third time.
