About Cass

Welcome Cass. She is a 3-year-old Staffie/Lab mix. She has some trimming down in weight to do but she agrees with the ladies that this is not as easy as it seems. She is a low energy couch potato. She is wonderful with other dogs and really contented sitting beside her human. She doesn't over exert herself with any task. She does what is needed and back into the house for a snuggle and nap. She would make a great dog for anyone that wants a companion and isn't over the top active. While she can go on walks she would only do them with you if you wanted but would not require them for her happiness. She just wants love and attention and a nice rug or doggie bed to snuggle in. She was probably used as a breed dog until they had no use and then dumped her. She has a wonderful maternal instinct and is great with all dogs. She weighs about 63 pounds and would be more ideal at 50lbs. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally to a great family or transported to the East or the West Coast.
