About Rio

If you're looking for a pup to provide you with lots of laughs, you've got to meet Rio! Rio appears to be around 6-7 months old and maybe a mix of Boxer/Shepherd. He has long legs and big paws, sometimes romping around trying to figure out his footing! Rio has got to be related to Chance from the 'Howard Bound' movies. Goofy, clumsy, and fun loving. His personality matches exactly! Rio is looking for a family who can provide his high energy personality with physical and mental exercises. If you are looking for a hiking partner or an active companion, Rio is your guy. He is also dog friendly and he will play play play!!! Being so large and goofy, we suggest no small kiddos as he may topple them over by accident. Rio is currently working on leash manners and occasional puppy mouthing, as well as basics.
