About Caesar & Molly -bonded

Adoption Fee: $125
Bombay / Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hi there! We're Caesar and Molly, and we are a bonded pair of kitties who are in quite a precarious predicament. Since we were young, we've been happily living together with our humans, but recently our world has been turned upside down! Our elderly humans had to move to assisted living but couldn't take us with them. Right now we're staying alone in the recently vacated house, and friends and family trade off feeding and caring for us. This situation is lonely and will be coming to an end as soon as the house is sold. Yikes! We really don't want to be taken to the shelter! Caesar says: I've got a magnetic personality, if I do say so myself. I'm a very sociable, affectionate, mellow brown 'ticked' tabby fella with big green eyes who was born in June 2016 and who is adult, kid, dog, and cat friendly. I love to play and am always ready to chase a string or cat toy. Molly says: I'm a super-sweet, playful black DSH/ Bombay mix gal who was born in June 2015 and who is adult, kid, dog, and cat friendly. My coat is sleek and shiny like black patent leather, and my big copper-penny eyes will enchant you. Bombay mix kitties are often called 'Velcro' cats because we are so bonded to our humans, and I'm no exception. We would love to be adopted together as a bonded pair because we've been together all our lives. I hope that your heart strings have been plucked by our sad story and that you will waste no time arranging to meet us! Please don't be superstitious of black cats! You know, Groucho Marx once said, 'A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere.' Buster's Friends makes a concerted effort to rescue black cats and kittens from shelters because they are five times more likely to be euthanized than any other color of cat. However, many people who have had a black or Bombay mix cat before end up adopting another one because they seem to have such wonderful personalities and are emotionally stable and well balanced. Caesar is neutered, and Molly is spayed. Both cats are updated on shots, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for their indoor-only home. They will be microchipped after their adoption is finalized. No de-clawing permitted. Their adoption fee is $125 for the bonded pair, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Caesar and Molly, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet them. NOTE: Caesar and Molly are posted as a courtesy to an independent owner in hopes that networking through Buster's Friends' website postings will find a wonderful lifetime home for them. Buster's Friends is committed to reducing the number of animals who are surrendered to shelters and to assuring that fewer animals face the possibility of euthanasia. Courtesy postings for the community is one way that we can achieve this by providing a platform in which animals like Caesar and Molly remain safe while still being widely seen until they are placed in a permanent home. DISCLAIMER: Caesar and Molly have never been in the care of Buster's Friends. We can therefore not evaluate their behavior or medical status and not be liable for any damages or injury which they may cause. However, their caregivers will supply all of their vet records. If Caesar and Molly need to be returned, they will go back to the family of their independent owner. To adopt one of our cats, you must fill out our adoption application and be approved by one of our adoption counselors.
