Pinto has FeLv, and he needs to be in a home with no cats, or a home with other FeLv positive cats. FeLv is contagious from cat to cat by casual contact such as grooming, sharing dishes or litter pans, but it does not spread to dogs, or people. 85% of cats with this disease die within 3 years of diagnosis. There is no cure for FeLv. Pinto is currently in a temporary foster home. He is a very social and sweet cat, also outgoing. He really likes his dog buddies and taking over their beds. He does well on a leash and harness. Loves playing with his toys and rolling around in cat nip.
