About Darcy

Adoption Fee: $250
Siberian Husky
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Darcy is a 3-year-old Siberian reall sweet Husky/American Eskimo. She recently had enucleation surgery on both her eyes. It appeared that she had been blind for a very long while considering her left eye was bulging. She found herself at the shelter where she was really terrified and no one came for her. She was rescued at the last hour and brought to Orlando where she was vetted. Her stitches were removed and she is ready for adoption. The fact that she is blind, has affected her confidence. She will require a special someone that will understand she needs time to adjust and guide her. She is looking for a home preferably without any children since she gets spooked easily :'( . She is good with other dogs that are not in our face kind off, unknown cats, housebroken, and crate trained. She walks well on a leash and is always happy go lucky when on one. Darcy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250 Microchipped, fixed and fully vetted. Adoption fee is !!!!PLEASE READ!!! If interested in adopting, fill out the adoption application at www.huskyhavenfl.org Once we received it, we will start processing it. Please understand we are a volunteered basis organization so we can't set a timeline, however, we work hard to process as fast as we can. It's very important that you fill it out the application completely. Missing information will delay the process, specially vet phone numbers, references, and info on pets. All the questions regarding the available pets and their personalities can be found at www.huskyhavenfl.org Many times we get asked for additional photos. We DO NOT have any additional photos other than the ones posted on our website and we try to be as honest as we can in each pet's bio. Please read carefully each bio, all information that we know is in there. If it's not there we do not know. Additionally, all of our dogs are in foster homes. We DO NOT have a shelter or location. They are in private homes with families. Therefore, you must have an approved application prior to setting up a meet and greet. Finally, thank you for your interest in adoption. Your application is key. Many times, we find you apply for one dog but that one might not be the best fit for your family. We will suggest if another one that is available will be better suited.
