About Beaux

This awesome guy is looking for a new home! Beaux was well loved by his previous owner that had to go into nursing care and could not longer keep Beaux. Beaux is a handsome Maltese/Shih Tzu that loves people and gets along great with female dogs (he becomes obsessed with male dogs and will not stop biting them and tormenting them). Beaux loves to sleep snuggled up ON a person at night, loves to follow in your footsteps, and does well on car rides.It will take him a little while to get used to going outside to potty in a new place but that is expected in a new home with a little guy that is confused about where he can go. Beaux is about four years old and weighs 7.8 pounds (needs to gain). Beaux has been neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and now ready for a home of his own! WE ARE IN ABILENE, TEXAS. WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR PETS, WE REQUIRE ADOPTERS MEET THE DOG TO MAKE SURE IT IS A GOOD FIT. NOTE: We are a rescue, the dogs are in foster homes. WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. We require an application BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets. We contact vets to ensure that pets already in the adoptive home are current on vaccines, heartworm prevention and sterilized. We have gotten to know the pet and our goal is to make the best match, between pet and people. PLEASE be aware, we do not adopt out to a home that has an animal which has not been spayed or neutered.
