About Quinn

Quinn is an adorable little two year old terrier mix who is looking for her forever home. Quinn only weighs 13.5 pounds full grown, so she is a pretty petite girl. . She came to the rescue very pregnant and needed an emergency c section to save her life and the lives of her babies. She did an amazing job with her role as mommy, and all four of her babies have found great forever homes. We have no idea what happened in Quinn's life prior to arriving in our care, but she is very fearful of people. It's clear she REALLY wants love and attention from people, but she is so afraid to be grabbed or picked up. She's been in a loving foster home for the past few months so she could raise her babies. She was always very sweet about sharing her babies with the people in the house, but she didn't want the people to pet her or grab for her. The family has figured out little tricks to get her to feel comfortable enough now so they can give her some snuggles and pets. She cautiously greets most everyone she meets with a couple sweet kisses on a held out hand. She has also been really good with the family's two personal dogs, and it's clear she'd love another kind dog in the house to play with too. The other day, her foster family saw her around small children for the first time. She was very interested in the three year old girl. IF she were to go to a home with small children, it would be important that the children knew to be gentle and patient since Quinn needs time to build trust. She is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped and vet checked. Her adoption fee is $220 and includes a free vet visit and 30 days of pet insurance.
