About Pierre

Pierre is a 9 month old cairn terrier who is looking for the perfect forever family to call his very own. Pierre came to the rescue because he was being food aggressive. Outside of meal time, Pierre is great with dogs both large and small, but he is very protective of his food. Pierre can go to a home with another dog as long as him family is willing to separate the dogs for feeding until his food aggression can be sorted out, and he will be watched with treats and bones. Pierre is a sweet boy, but he will need a home with older children only. Pierre loves women and may favor the women in his home. Pierre is a young and playful boy with lots of energy. Pierre loves to play with toys but nothing excites him like a squeaky toy! Pierre would love a home where he is rarely left alone, as he does bark and cry when left alone. He loves his people so much he will try to go everywhere with you, even if it means darting out the door behind you, so you will have to watch the doors carefully! Pierre is a love bug who will make the right family very happy! He weighs 7 pounds now, but may still fill out a few more pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $300. His adoption fee includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11-6. Call for locations on weekend as we have off site adoption events that some dogs attend.
