About Bagel

Meet little Bagel, she is a 1-2 year old pug/doxie who found herself and her pups on death row in Texas. She is a very sweet but timid little girl, she needs to find a home with enough patience to allow her to decompress and trust. She kept her little family alive on the streets for weeks and is having a hard time transitioning to a safe indoor world. When she learns to trust you, she is your constant companion. Bagel's eyes say it all, when you look into her eyes you can see her whole life, there is pain, love, and a plea for somewhere safe to be. She would do best in a home without kids with someone who isn't gone for long hours and with a kind voice. All of her puppies have found their furever homes and now it's time for little Bagel to find her home. She does get along with other dogs and cats. She likes to sun in the window and loves to be outside. She likes to sit in your lap and loves the feel of human touch. She has been through so much in her little life and deserves some kindness. Bagel has been a special foster, she has come a long way in just a short time, she just needs someone to give her a chance to be a great companion.
