About De Niro

De Niro is my name, and being a good boy is my game. I am a very typical 9 month old husky boy who will talk your ear off. One of my all time favorite things is playing with my dog friends. I don't discriminate, I play with dogs of all sizes. Even though I'm a social butterfly and could play all day everyday (if allowed), I also know when it's time to be a good boy and listen to commands. I know so many! I can sit, lay down, give my paw, high five, wait, speak...sheesh, the list goes on! Oh, and I am crate trained and housebroken. See, I told you I'm a good boy! Please understand we are a volunteered basis organization so we can't set a timeline, however, we work hard to process as fast as we can. It's very important that you fill it out the application completely. Missing information will delay the process, specially vet phone numbers, references, and info on pets. All the questions regarding the available pets and their personalities can be found at www.huskyhavenfl.org Many times we get asked for additional photos. We DO NOT have any additional photos other than the ones posted on our website and we try to be as honest as we can in each pet's bio. Please read carefully each bio, all information that we know is in there. If it's not there we do not know. Additionally, all of our dogs are in foster homes. We DO NOT have a shelter or location. They are in private homes with families. Therefore, you must have an approved application prior to setting up a meet and greet. Finally, thank you for your interest in adoption. Your application is key. Many times, we find you apply for one dog but that one might not be the best fit for your family. We will suggest if another one that is available will be better suited.
