About Bandon

Looking for a pet home! Bandon is a 6 year old male Anatolian Shepherd. We purchased him to be a guardian dog for our goats. Unfortunately he is not interested in doing this job any longer and has begun to dig out of the pasture and hang out under our house. He is a friendly boy and seems to really enjoy just being around us. We want to find Bandon a new family because we already have 3 dogs that are our house pets. We just dont have the time or space for another pet. Things to consider if you are interested in Bandon: He has never been a house dog and has not been housebroken. He has chronic hot spots on his ears that get irritated in summertime and attract flies. Our vet has advised that he would do better out west in a dry climate or as an indoor dog during summer months as the hot spots dry up in the winter time. Otherwise, Bandon is an easy going boy who just wants the love and attention of his family who he will work hard to protect. He has a loud serious bark that would make any potential intruder think twice about coming on his property.
