About Babygirl

I have had Babygirl, continuously, for the last 7 months. She is approximately 16 months old. Babygirl is papered and registered. I took her from her original owners, July 2017, because she was being physically abused, mistreated, and neglected by several adults and children that resided in the home. She had been placed in 2 different homes and was brought back to me because they could not provide for her. She does not like people fighting, yelling or screaming and will get aggressive. She is aggressive towards strangers, especially men. I have 2 older dogs, a 11 yr. old male Boxer and 11 yr. old female Rotty mix. Babygirl plays with my Boxer BUT has repeatedly attacked my older female, hurting her badly! Babygirl plays with my neighbors male Boxer and female Rotty. Friends have brought their dogs and Babygirl is fine unless I walk outside and get close to the other dog, then she will attack the dog. Friends can't hug me or Babygirl shows aggression. I did get her fixed on June 26th, 2018 and all her shots are current. I was hoping this may help lesson her aggressiveness. Babygirl loves and shows affection wholeheartedly. She loves laying on your lap, while you rub her belly, all over body rubs, she loves to be touched. She loves to play! She loves chasing shadows and will spends hours running after a laser light. She loves water! She will eat socks! She knows the commands; sit, shake, down, bye bye, load up, no, but hasn't gotten drop it yet. She is hyper and has lots of energy. She needs someone who has time to spend with her, is patient, loving, and can work with her. She is devoted and highly protective and seems to attach more to females than males. SHE DOES NOT LIKE CATS and will hurt them. She chases cars and bites the tires. She does not like lawnmowers, weed-eaters, vacuums, large sticks especially holding it over your head. You can not slap at her or she will nip you. Babygirl will be a great dog for the right person. My 13 yr.old grandson has been mean to Babygirl and she has shown aggression on several occasions towards him and is very guarded around him. But my 18 month old granddaughter has no fear and Babygirl has never shown ANY aggression towards her.
