About Cotton-PENDING!

Cotton is an incredibly cute ball of cottony fur (he really resembles a lamb) that climbs into your heart (and lap) with a wag and a kiss. What isn't clear in this shelter photo is how truly beautiful this dog is with the stunning silver-toned and white streaks that run through his soft as cotton coat. Cotton also has the cutest face ever with dark eyes filled with so much wisdom...you just want to hug this little cutie-pie close. Once he gets a sudsy bath and some great nutrition, Cotton will absolutely be one of the most adorable guys around. At 6 months old and 7 lbs, Cotton is a perfect size to accompany his family just about everywhere a sweet smaller dog is welcome. A long walk or hike would speak to this little guy's love of the outdoors. A backpack would provide this tiny guy with a seat from above to enjoy the paths and trails. Cotton is every bit the young guy...fun and active. But at the same time he is a happy and well-behaved pup (once he's used to his environment). It's natural for this little guy to express himself with a wagging tail and excited kisses of love. At this early point in Cotton's development, he loves virtually everyone..be it human or canine. We want to nurture this positive vision of the world by matching Cotton to a family who expresses their devotion for him in many different ways. We feel that Cotton would be most comfortable with an adult family or one with older kids 12+ where voices are softer and the energy is calmer. We also understand that Cotton will be happiest and most fulfilled with retirees, a family that spends lots of time at home or those that can take a smaller guy along to a pet-friendly workplace. He will thrive on the time and attention that this lifestyle brings. Cotton's new family needs to have the motivation, energy and open heart for a young rescue dog. He will require behavioral guidance and tons of love to give him a positive attitude about the world. In return Cotton will be a loyal and loving best friend and the greatest lap dog ever. When this adorable puppy falls in love, he falls hard. He gives 100% of himself to his relationships with both his people and his canine companions. Cotton will be up to date on his vetting. We're hoping that he will be neutered when he arrives from New Mexico, however puppies are often deemed too young to neuter. If this is the case, Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Cotton to be fixed and microchipped at our vet in Denver to be in line with our commitment to be a part of the solution to pet overpopulation.
