Hi my name is Vinnie and I'm a 2 1/2 year old Staffordshire Terrier who is being fostered in the Portland area, but transportation may be provided for me if you live on the West Coast.I am a high energy pup looking for a family that likes to stay active! I'm pretty darned cute and I won't say no to a leash walk! I am still working on building my confidence on a leash as I can be somewhat anxious and fearful. After some exercise, I'm just a sweet boy who loves snuggling on the couch and being close to my people. I'm very calm and independent, and you can rest assured I know how to keep myself busy with my Kong. I love kids and am very gentle with them. I play well with my foster doggie brother although they tell me I get a bit rowdy.They say I am pretty smart, and I come already crate and potty trained. I am a bit of an escape artist so a solid fully fenced yard would be best for me.I have a high prey drive and will chase squirrels, cats, birds, really anything on the move. I heel well and do not pull on walks but if I see another dog or cat I am extremely reactive and it's difficult to hold me back. I have been in training to help me with these issues but have a ways to go still.. Perhaps you can finish helping me be the perfect boy on a leash?My ideal home is a quiet neighborhood or a home in the country.
