About Spanky

Spanky -- is about two years old. Golden Retriever mix. He is chipped, so contact information would need to be updated. Spanky is fine around cats, he really doesn't pay attention to them. He is good with other dogs, but does like to be the dominant male, and loves to play. He is very sweet and gentle, especially with children and elderly people. He listens to commands, and is housebroken. He loves to be around people. Spanky is shy at first, but warms up easily. Spanky likes open spaces, will always let his handler go through doorway first, and does not like smoke. He likes to lay by your bedside when sleeping, and enjoys the safety of his crate. We are moving June 15, and cannot take him, we inherited him from my mother in law when she passed, but have no time to give him the attention he deserves.
