About Ikota

Ikota has been sitting in the shelter with his brother since January. He is a good boy but he is heartworm positive and so many rescues won't help him. Volunteers at the shelter have this to say: We took Ikota back out again today and he was like a totally different dog. He's still a little nervous when you first take him out, but he loves spending time with people and he really came out of his shell. He is so sweet, friendly, happy and loving. He was great with my daughter and he loved just sitting at our feet getting lots of love and attention. And last week: I took Ikota back out again when I was there the other day. He was eager to get outside and visit again. Still such a sweet boy, just patiently waiting for his forever home. There are generous pledges for rescue or adopter to help with his hw treatment.
