About WILKS

WILKS is a big love bug! In his world there is nothing better than an empty lap to put his head on! WILKS is always first in line when it comes to grabbing some loving and forgets that he is really not a lap dog. This 2 year old gorgeous brindle hound mix found himself next on the kill list as he was HW+ but shelter workers fell head over heels for him. . He was saved by a kindly foster and is just about completed his treatment. WILKS acts like a big goofy pup. He listens well and is eager to learn. He does not like baths but who did when they were 2? He eats like crazy but is still on the thin side but we are working on that. This is his shelter picture- he certainly has fattened up a bit. WILKS loves his chew toys and will gather them up and stash them in his crate. WILKS is submissive with other dogs, likes to be around children and has not met a cat. WILKS will be ready to travel to Bucks County by the end of June. Please let us know of you have a place in your heart and home for this big silly boy! He will need a foster or an adopter. WILKS is neutered, has completed his heartworm treatment and will need to be on monthly heartworm preventative. WILKS is up to date on age appropriate core vaccines. Adoption fee is $350.
