About Shaw

Meet Shaw, a petite 6 pound Chihuahua whom we believe to be about 6 years old, She came to us from a hoarding situation. She is now learning what it means to be picked up, held close, and nuzzled and she couldn't be happier than when she is being snuggled by her person. She is working on her housebreaking and uses a doggie door. Shaw gets along well with other dogs and welcomes playing with them. She enjoys sleeping the night with her person, but happily takes naps during the day in her doggie bed. Due to her past life, she cannot be crated with a closed door. She has not been tested with cats or children, but given her fragile size, Shaw would not be suitable in a home with small children. Shaw is heartworm negative and microchipped. Shaw has recently had a small tumor removed from her chest. This sweetheart is easy-going and so easy to love. Is your furever home the place she has been waiting for?
