About Miss Bella

Chihuahua mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Miss Bella is a tiny and very sweet girl, nearly teacup in size. She's mostly Chihuahua, but mixed with something very sweet apparently. She came out of a hoarding situation and was not used to new dogs and people coming into her life. That has all changed! She is adjusting to her new life with lots of dogs and people very well and will make a great companion for someone who loves to be loved and kissed and snuggled. When you first meet Bella she may bark a bit, but give her some treats and in seconds you are her new best friend. Give this little thing a chance to start a conversation with you and she'll do just that, trying to convince you that you just have to do what she wants. She will make a great dog for alerting her family to things that don't belong but is not a nuisance barker at all. Give Bella a chance to meet new dogs, cats and kids slowly and she should be good with them all. Patience and respect for where she came from is all she asks. If you would like to meet this lovely girl please read on or go directly to the adoption process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
