About Pepper

PEPPER AND BJ ARE A BONDED PAIR AND WILL NOT BE PLACED SEPARATELY. Loved by an older couple, Pepper and BJ were the light of their lives. Unfortunately, both have passed and Pepper and BJ have gone from pampered pooches to homeless. They have endured a lot lately and now MUST be placed together. Pepper the Pom is a little love bug who loves every adult she meets. She is good with children too! She is very healthy in every way except for a left back knee that pops in and out at times but it doesn't stop her from playing with BJ as long as he's not to rough. Pepper was a mama's girl, but mom passed in 2016. She will be 6 years old at the end of this year. She has never been on a leash, she was always carried but she could probably be taught to walk on a harness. Pepper loves being the center of attention and being in your lap as soon as you sit down. They had a pet door to go in and out as they wanted so the senior couple didn't have to get up. Pepper hides behind BJ when she get nervous over another dog or person if theres no furniture to get behind. They have never been around other dogs so they should be your only.
