About BJ

BJ IS BONDED WITH PEPPER AND THEY WILL NOT BE ADOPTED SEPARATELY. BJ has been through a lot in the past couple of years. He was a pampered pooch by a loving senior couple, who have recently passed. Both are inside dogs used to a comfy lap to sit on. When they needed to go out they used a doggy door and life was good--until his parents were gone. Now BJ and Pepper are in need of a home together. Of the two, BJ is the boss. He is completely healthy at nine years old but gets a little sore if he plays ball or frisbee for too long -- he plays really hard! But he has no joint pain when just doing daily stuff. He hates cats and small critters, loves to be petted by kids. If the children want to play ball with him--he is all in!! He walks on leash but will chew on it some times while walking. The only time he was on leash was going to vet or groomers, which he did every three weeks. BJ is not wild about other dogs because Pepper is the only other dogs he's really known. On the other hand, Pepper hides behind BJ when she get nervous over another dog or person if theres no furniture to get behind. This is a pair of dogs who have lost their people and need to stay together. All they need is a loving family and a fenced in yard to run around and play--walks are optional for these two.
