About Nika

Gorgeous Nika is a 2 year old Great Dane /Mastiff mix, approx 90 lbs. She is a true gentle giant and thinks she's a lap dog. Loves adults and kids. Nika is awesome on the leash, knows some commands and plays catch. She is timid till she gets to know you. She loves other dogs and is a sweet cuddle bug and loves to go for long walks. She is the perfect companion and will adapt to any family situation. Her previous owner fell on hard times and was not able to keep her and cried a river to have to let her go. Nika is currently in one of our Texas Foster homes. Due to her size and shortage of foster homes in Ohio she will have to be pre-adopted or have a designated foster/foster to adopt prior to transporting her up north. Videos can be provided. Nika is fully vetted, UTD on all vaccines and preventatives, HW tested, spayed and microchipped. if you are interested in Nika please email [email protected] We are all volunteers with jobs and families in addition to our rescue dogs. We do our best to respond within 24 hours but please be patient. Applicants under 25 years of age will need to demonstrate an adult lifestyle. If you rent your home we require a letter from the landlord submitted with your application granting permission for a pet. A fenced yard is preferred.
