About Bear

Bear is a black Lab mix. He is so gentle and loving. He has been gentle with my children and grandchildren. He has been great with other animals we have. He is playful. He doesn't jump on you unless invited. He has learned to share his food, but not bones yet. He still is a little territorial with those. He is the most loving gentle dog for his size. I have been working getting him use to a brush, but he retaliated by chewing it up. He has shown no violence and adapts very quickly. If you sit down on his level he will curl up on your lap. If you are sitting in a chair he is laying next to you. He is very dedicated to his owner. The negative is he is chewing everything we have. The last straw with my husband is him chewing the lattice off the porch. I need help immediately and I don't know what to do. He is the best thing with his little nub tail. He's just the most loving dog. He was a rescue and we have had him 2 months. I don't want to bring him to a shelter. Please help him! His name was Zeus, but he was clearly a gentle bear.
