About Buster

Buster is an 11-year-old Chiweenie and weighs 8 lbs. Buster was surrendered to a shelter when his elderly owner passed away. Buster was so scared at the shelter that staff and volunteers reached out for help, and Addicus answered the call. After losing his person and his home, the Addicus team just knew that Buster needed to feel safe in order to heal his broken heart and they arranged to place him in a foster home that same day. Buster was shy at first, but in just a few days his sweet, playful personality has come out. Buster is devoted to people and loves the company of other small dogs - large dogs make him a little nervous. He also loves belly rubs and soft blankets for snoozing. He is working on crate-training and house-breaking and he does very well wearing a belly band inside. Buster has lost a few teeth over the years, so he prefers soft foods. He has been vaccinated and is current on flea and heartworm preventative. Buster is scheduled to be neutered and will have his teeth cleaned on March 26th. Buster is looking for a loving forever home with some experience with the needs of older dogs. He will need access to regular vet care, a fenced yard, treats, and lots of cuddles.
