Wilfred is a 6 year old Catahoula who is a wonderful, smart, high energy dog. My wife and I got him from a shelter as a puppy and we have had him for 6 Years. Our focus and time have shifted since the birth of our 2 sons. Our time and focus is now on the kids, and not so much on WIlfed. He finds alternate ways to get his energy out, and usually they involve tearing up the yard and the toddlers toys. We have a small yard and it is not enough for the dog. We would like to see him go to a home with an active owner, or someone with property and other animals. Wilfred is at his best when he is regularly exercised. Wilfred gets along with other dogs after he is able to acclimate and after he calms down. He is great with my toddler and new born, he has never snapped, gnarled or bitten anyone or anything. He is a great addition to our family, however, with our current situation, it is not fair to Wilfred to have to be cooped up and 'in the way'. Please feel free to reach out with additional questions. Thank You!
