About Bucky

Meet Bucky, an active, friendly and very affectionate pup looking for a home! Bucky is 11 months old, around 55 pounds and has spent practically his entire life in an animal control facility. He was brought to the shelter when she was only 2 months old with his littermates. The family dogs had an accidental litter of pups and homes could not be found for them so when they were old enough, off to the pound they went. Bucky was turned into a facility in rural southern IL. There is no reason Bucky has not found a home yet other than the fact he was in a sparsely populated area with a low adoption rate. We heard this friendly and handsome guy's story and knew we had to get this guy into our adoption program! He loves people and other dogs but has lived in a kennel his whole life. He will need just a little bit of time and training to learn to live in a home, but he's extremely intelligent and eager to please so we are confident he'll acclimate quickly. Bucky has so much love to give but hasn't had a lot of luck in his short life so far. Could you be the family that turns it all around for him?!
