About Ed

Ed, the middle aged Beagle/Bassett mix came into our care as a stray that was never claimed. He was in pretty rough shape at the time, (as you can see in the one picture) but he soon after started healing and is now on the road to recovery. Ed has been neutered and is completely UTD on vaccinations and microchipped, but unfortunately he is heartworm positive at this time. That will be taken care of and covered by us before he is adopted out into his forever home. This sweet and gentle guy has surprised us all with how well behaved he is for being a stray, he's an amazing dog! He's completely housebroke/crate trained, he does great with the other dogs. We're not sure how he is with cats yet but because he's so laid back, we're sure he wouldn't mind them! He's been fine with everyone he's met but due to his calm personality and age, we feel he'd prefer a quieter environment without young children. Ed really has no flaws, we know he'll make a wonderful companion for someone. He has many years of love to give! His adoption fee is $350 with an approved application (along with the fee towards mileage for any home visit/possible adoption). There is more information on the adoption application.
