About Jenny

Jenny is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Jenny is currently fostered in Bradenton, FL (Manatee County). My name is Jenny and as you can see I am a beautiful red dachshund! My former people turned me into a shelter. I currently am living with a lot of other dogs, and we all get along great! I really don't play with the bigger ones but I like playing with the other littles. I love my people and I am just the friendliest girl ever! I like to be wherever my people are. And sleeping on a bed is pretty nice too! I have the best time sniffing around the yard looking for lizards! I walk okay on lead, I love to be carried around and I will leap right into your arms. I am crate trained as long as I have some blankets to snuggle into (I am a burrower), and I use a puppy door to go out, so I dont have accidents in the house. I am looking for my forever family who will take me for car rides, walks and play with me. If you are looking for a constant loving and loyal companion, look no further. I am 7 yrs young, and once I get treated for heartworm, maybe there will be a home for me! The vet today told my foster mom that sometime in the past my jaw was fractured, but it doesnt stop me from eating or kissing you! After my heartworms are gone, my dental will be next!
