About Walnut

Fancy pants! Walnut is a distinguished gentleman. 3yo, approx 45lbs, great on leash, not a barker, good with other dogs, easy going. This guy was abandoned so he needs some time to settle and know he's safe. He's loving but likes time to warm up, he doesn't appreciate anyone coming on too strong too soon. Walnut was dumped in a field in San Bernardino. He sat patiently under a walnut tree for his owner to return...but they never did. He was untrusting of humans and ran into traffic whenever anyone approached him. Hope For Paws rescued him and he is now in our care. He is ready for his true forever home. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.�%A0 Adoption process includes an adoption contract and home check.�%A0 Adoption fee for dogs are $300 - 500 and for cats are $175.�%A0 All of our animals are fixed, vaccinated, and chipped.
