About Pepper

Hello; My name is Pepper. I just may be the perfect dog ever my foster mom said. I am aged at 11/12 years old, spayed micro chipped up-to-date on my shots and I am heartworm negative, but I am Erlichiosis positive (Ehrichia a Tick-Born Disease) but have had no attacked in my foster care and very healthy. Please do not let my Erlichia stop you from giving me a forever home it's not my fault my previous owners were not being educated regarding Ehrichia and how to protect me from this. I am not contagious to humans or others. I am totally potty-trained and will use a potty pad if you miss my Q to go outside and you have one down for me. I am also crate trained. I was found on the streets of Oklahoma as a stray no one came to claim me at the shelter (can you be leave that) so, the awesome people at Groovy Paws Rescue came to save me on the moment the shelter workers were taking me to the back to put me to sleep (my rescuer grabbed me up fast on what I told was my 11th hour) boy was I lucky. My previous owner may not have given me much time my foster mom thinks because I had no manners. I always jumped up on my humans because I craved attention so much, but with the help of my foster mom I have learned people are good and if I wait my turn I get lots of love from humans. I love to be in your lap sitting close to you or on the couch and love to go for walks. I am the best dog. I am loyal and such a love bug and just want to be with my humans. I get along with all my foster siblings and have been known to cuddle up to them and take a long nap with them.
