About Carter

Carter has lived with his human family and older canine brother since a puppy. He has had some big changes these passed few years; his family moved to a new home, his human dad left, and recently his human brother moved out. Carter's human mom's aging father has recently been diagnosed with health concerns and she must move to help her family. She is unable to bring Carter along for this relocation and is very sad about this fact. Carter is anxious, shy, moody and eager to please. When left at home alone, he has to be kept separated from his canine brother because they have gotten into fights and injured one another. He also has allergies and takes daily medication for anxiety and itchiness. At times his skin becomes irritated and he has to take antibiotics and steroids. His human mom avoids feeding him chicken and poultry as these seem to be one of the things that cause Carter's allergy problems. Carter needs a loving human family who will be patient and kind.
