About Elvis

Redbone Coonhound mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Elvis is a very lucky dog that found his way to a Dollar General Store on a cold day in November about 3 years ago. He was just sitting there at the door and hoping that someone would let him in. He tried to get in whenever someone walked in to the store. He was friendly with everyone that came by and the manager said he had been sitting there for a few weeks and he wondered where he was getting fed and watered. The store manager was not feeding him and so a kind-hearted lady took him home. Now 3 years later, Elvis is 4 years old and the rescue mom is moving soon and has to find a place for him to live because she is paring down the number of dogs she owns. Elvis is a 4 year old, 70- pound Redbone Hound mix that is really the sweetest dog in the world. Due to her neighbors complaining years ago about Elvis and his deep booming bark, he has had a vocal cord alter that now renders him a more quiet boy. This kept the peace with the neighbors and his bark now is a soft Woof'|. Elvis gets along with all other dogs at his current home but he will not live with a cat. He dislikes them greatly. He has been an outside dog living at night in the sunroom porch. He is very loving and if you look at those hound dog eyes and face you will never leave him behind. We know he would follow you home and right in to the house he would go!
