About Jake and Emma

Jake and his sister, Emma, were found as strays at a farmer's house. He fed them for a few days, but then decided he 'was going to get rid of them'. Not knowing what fate was ahead of them a family member took them in overnight while an emergency foster was found. Both pups are 5 months old and have had their 1st round of puppy shots to include rabies and parvo. As soon as they have put on some much-needed weight, about another 5-7 lbs each, the vet will spay and neuter them. They have both been tested for heartworms and both are negative and on a monthly preventative as well as a flea and tick preventative. Emma is a sweet girl who loves to just snuggle into your arms. Jake is a little more outgoing and adventurous. In the picture, Jake has on the blue-collar and Emma has the wider white stripe down her nose. We are a foster-based rescue and all of our dogs are in loving homes where we can learn about each one's unique personality. Knowing this helps us to best match up the dogs with the right family environment.
